Eindhoven, 23.08.2010 – Sanus Systems, consumer brand of the largest mount manufacturer worldwide Milestone AV Technologies, is launching a range of new Super-Slim mounts at IFA this year.

“Customers have shown a special interest in our Super-Slim products this year since these mounts complement the slim design of new LCD/LED TVs” says Cathrin Wegner, Sales & Marketing Director EMEA of Milestone’s consumer division. “An end user that is spending more money for an ultra-flat TV is not likely to use a mount that will add a lot of distance between TV and wall as they are looking to emphasize the slim design of their new TV, however they do require the same flexibility to tilt or move the TV.”

Sanus is responding to these requests by launching the new Super-Slim VMT15, a tilting mount for 26-46 inch TVs which places the TV only 2 cm from the wall and uses VirtualAxis™ to enable users to tilt the TV up to 10˚ with the touch of a finger and without the use of any tools. Using the VMT15 also provides the flexibility to adjust the height and horizontal position of the TV after installation. The VMT15 can be used for TVs with VESA up to 500 x 400.

The brand new VMT14 and VLT14 are both tilting mounts intended for customers on a limited budget. Both mounts are Super-Slim at 2 and 2.2 cm depth respectively and offer VirtualAxis™ tilting technology as well as Quick-Release-tabs which easily pull down to unlock the TV from the wall plate. The integrated ClickStand™ mechanism will hold the TV from the wall for hands free cable management. The VMT14 can be used for 26-42 inch TVs up to VESA 500 x 400, the VLT14 for 37-65 inch TVs up to VESA 800 x 400.

In addition, Sanus will be launching their first Super-Slim full motion mounts at IFA. The VMF308 for TVs from 26-47 inch and VESA up to 400 x 400 can be extended 20.5 cm from the wall, offers swivel of +/- 35˚ left and right, 70˚ in total, and tilts smoothly up to 10˚. Using the VMF308 allows for the TV to be installed at only 2.56 cm from the wall yet offers full motion capabilities. For TVs up to 65 inch and VESA 600 x 400 Sanus is featuring the VLF311 which places the TV 2.84 cm from the wall and extends up to 28 cm for a +/- 33˚ swivel left and right, 66˚ in total. The VLF311 can be tilted 10˚ also and used with universal mounting patterns.

Visitors can view and test these and a number of other new products at the Sanus IFA stand in hall 25, stand no 100.
